Can you lose weight by eating cookies? Dr. Sandor Siegel says YES! The health and dieting expert is the inventor of the cookie diet.

The diet consists of eating cookies designed from specific recipes which supress hunger and when taken with a with a carefully crafted dinner, can help you lose weight.

Basically, you eat cookies during the day whenever the you get hungry and have one low-fat meal for dinner.

"On this diet, you have one meal only: dinner," Siegal said. "The dinner consists of 6 ounces of chicken, turkey, fish or seafood."

The cookies themselves are available in chocolate, raisin and coconut.
